A strict disciplinarian with a no nonsense attitude. Appointed the clubs first ever manager in the summer and wasted no time in making some signings and stamping his mark on the team. He doesn’t mix his words and is enjoying some good success with his new, young team. Does a lot of the backroom work for the club that allows the club to run so efficiently.

Came on board as Big John’s assistant at the beginning of November. He has helped lighten the match day work load and offers a more practical side to the coaching of the team and a second opinion when it comes to team selection. Upset the goalkeepers by introducing a strenuous and totally unnecessary pre-match warm up!

The founder of Brookwood and District Football Club, A good shot-stopper with a huge fly kick but not so impressive with his goal kicks! Has many similarities with David James! Managers son.

13 Jamie Orriss
Nickname: Nobby
DOB: 22/07/1992
Previous Clubs: Brookwood and District Academy
Younger brother of Jason, Good shot-stopper, definitely a exciting prospect for the future. A sweet left foot, fitness provided, could do a more than adequate job on field as well. Was assistant manager until standing down in his role to concentrate on the playing side.

2 Ross Winn

A roaming full back who loves to attack reminiscent of the Brazilian great Cafu! Not afraid to put his foot in and a keen eye for the Hollywood passes! Has a great eye for goal, sadly at the wrong end though!

3 Rob Elton

Started the first game of season as an emergency left back, has since gone on to cement the place as his own. A consistent performer who offers a steady game every week.

5 Darren Piggott
Nickname: Jockman
DOB: 05/08/1991
Previous Clubs: -
A mid season signing who has slotted in nicely at centre back initially to cover injuries and holidays, has since gone on to show some stunning performances. With a similar style to Carvalho, he has pace to burn, fantastic tackler, commanding in the air and loves to go on the odd mazy run!

6 Chris Hughes

Chosen as the club first ever captain in the summer. A no nonsense centre back who takes no prisoners! Skilful and able to play in more advanced roles as well, a key member of the squad

12 Josh White
Nickname: HMS
DOB: 19/11/1984
Previous Clubs: Yateley
If Jockman is like Carvalho, HMS is like Terry! Puts his body on the line for the cause of the team. Originally signed as a midfielder, filled in when injuries left us short at the back. Unfortunate to get injured early on but now getting back to full match fitness.

14 Kane Da Silva

A utility player who can play anywhere along the back line. Scorer of the very first BDFC goal. Has a vicious long range effort and being 6ft+, he is more than a handful for opposition defenders at set pieces.

15 Jon Mack

Arguably one of the most dedicated members of the squad. Despite not getting much match time, still turns up to training and match days showing a level of commitment that has impressed the management team. Also shows an amazing skill of being able to run the line and go through numerous bacon rolls at the same time!

Brother of the keepers, Set up a formidable partnership at the back or up front with Jonny! Gradually increasing his fitness, has shown in training to be capable of the odd finish or 2!

4 Carl Baker

The co-founder of the club and currently acting as chairman. A roaming midfielder who has the talent to pick a pass, not afraid to put his foot in, has shown his versatility by filling in a centre back on a few occasions and doing a more than useful job.

7 Steve Bullen
Nickname: MI5, Fireman Sam

The senior member of the squad, despite not having the pace of many of the squad, he makes up for it with the level of experience he brings to the team. A no nonsense midfielder who steadies the ship by protecting the back 4 in the Makelele role.

8 Gary Lewis
Nickname: Gaz

Previous Clubs: Brookwood Village
The self proclaimed most successful Captain in our brief history. A workhorse on the right who has filled in to various other positions with great success. One of the fittest members of the squad and a real character in the changing rooms, previously being seen stropping in puddles in West Byfleet!

11 Liam Winn
Nickname: Mummy’s Soldier
DOB: 28/01/1990
Previous Clubs: Meadow Sports
A tricky winger who loves terrorising right backs with his pace a skill down the left wing. Has an eye for goal and is a constant threat to any defence. Also delivers a good set piece. Very exciting young player.

17 Lewis Griffiths
Nickname: Legs, Bunnychib, chubb chubb
DOB: 04/10/1991
Previous Clubs: Meadow Sports
A pacy winger who can operate on either wing. Rewarded for his early hard work with his first goals against Parkway, one being a very coolly taken penalty. Definitely one of the most exciting young players in the squad. Son of Assistant manager.

18 Mark Ward

DOB: 21/02/1984
Previous Clubs: Brookwood Village
A machine in the centre of midfield with an endless fuel tank, A combative midfielder who can pass, tackle and run with the ball. Unfortunate to get injured in his 2nd game but now back to full fitness and looking for his place back.

20 Ben Stevens
Nickname: Welshy
DOB: 14/03/1988
Previous Clubs: Goldsworth Park Rangers
A pacy winger who can operate on either wing. Has a great cross on him which has helped contribute a couple of goals this season. Has been unable to cement a regular place due to being at uni but a very useful player to have in the squad.

21 James Sullivan

A left side player who can operate at either left back or in his more favoured position on the left wing. Can deliver a good cross and work hard. Is well liked in the dressing room despite his comical mood swings!

22 Nick Greenwood
Nickname: Anderton

A right winger with a lethal right foot. Takes a dangerous set piece and can deliver cross which leaving defences standing. A very dedicated member of the squad who displays the attitude that managers dream of.

23 Peter Do

Another of our uni contingent who is a very useful player to have in our squad. A lively midfielder who can operate in the middle or out wide. Loves getting on the ball and looking for passes.

24 George Alley

A skilful midfield who recently signed for the club. Plays on the right of midfield. Looks to take on his marker and get the ball into the ball. Should provide good ammunition for the strikers.

9 James Brown

A tireless striker who despite opening his account in the first game of the season, found goals hard to come by. Has since hit form with 3 in 3 and is starting to show his true value to the team. Will be keen to battle AJ for the golden boot this season.

A lightning quick striker who is turning into a hat-trick specialist. With 6 goals in 5 games, he currently tops the teams goal scoring charts and is always looking to add to his tally. A lethal left foot and an eye for goal should see an interesting battle between him and OB for the clubs first ever golden boot. Comically turned up at the wrong ground for a home game despite us training there all summer!

25 Chris Owen

DOB: 19/01/1976

A target man centre forward that due to family commitments has been unable to start a competitive game for the club. His physical presence could cause defence plenty of problems.
